WHO
WE ARE

LDC Care Co Ltd, formerly known as LDC (Dover) Ltd, is a family-run business where attention to detail and individual service is reflected in everything we do.

We specialise in providing care for adults with learning disabilities in one of our residential care homes or in a supported living environment in the East Kent area.

We are committed to supporting service users to achieve their full potential and promote their independence without compromising their dignity.

We have developed considerable knowledge and expertise in working with people who have challenged traditional services. This includes supporting people who have presented mental health problems and some challenging behaviour.

Each service user has a plan which is regularly reviewed and which reflects the needs and wishes of the individual. We support the residents in maintaining relationships with existing family and friends as well as encouraging them to make new friends. In addition, the plan reflects the interests and hobbies of the individual as well as offering opportunities to try new activities. At all times the views of the service user, as well as their well-being and safety, are respected.

We are also able to develop bespoke services for residents with complex needs who are having difficulties finding an appropriate placement.

ABOUT US

FOR

FAMILIES

We understand that those closest to our clients often have the best possible insight into what they may need in order to settle into a new home, thrive and live a happy life.

With this firmly in mind, we will always endeavour to forge positive relationships with the families, friends and next of kin of our service users as it allows us to provide the highest possible level of bespoke care to their loved ones.

LDC Care Co Ltd pride themselves on being fully transparent and inclusive with regard to sharing relevant information and will offer regular updates on the progress of clients that suit the family and keep them appropriately informed and up-to-date.

As a company, we are always eager to receive constructive feedback and comments about the standard of care that we provide.  Whether it’s during an informal chat, or through our annual Quality Assurance programme, you can rest assured that your views will be listened to, valued and acted upon where necessary.

FOR

PROFESSIONALS

Our professional integrity is something that we hold in high regard and LDC Care Co Ltd have a long history of building and maintaining successful working relationships with a multitude of external professionals who all have some level of participation into the care provided to our service users.

Through our experience we know that it takes a lot of work and input from a range of services in order to allow a care package to work effectively from the moment of its conception.  As such, we operate a policy of open communication, professional respect and transparency in all of our relationships.

If you are a social care professional and have any questions, please feel free to contact our Admin team who will either help you directly with your enquiry or pass you on to someone who can.

You can find links to our most recent CQC inspection reports by following the links below:

Having recently completed a CQC inspection for our supported living services as a part of the second wave of new CQC regulations, a report for this inspection will be made available in due course.

OUR

STAFF

You may have heard the phrase ‘it takes a certain type of person to work in care’.  Well, if that type of person is dedicated, compassionate, dynamic, eager, kind, energetic, selfless, honest, patient, and positive, then LDC Care Co Ltd have got a whole workforce of them!

We are always looking for ways to improve the knowledge and skills of our care staff, which has led to out-of-the-box thinking with regards to training and experiences that we are able to offer.

We’re very proud of our team; from Director to Support Worker via the Administration team, it’s clear that the ethos and principles that were so important to our family when we opened our first care home still exist and drive us onward to this day and beyond.
