About Us

Providing support to highly complex individuals is what we do best. At LDC Care Co we understand that providing the best person-centred support provides the best opportunities for achieving life goals and reaching personal milestones, and this has been a part of our ethos for the last 24 years.

With multiple CQC ratings of ‘Outstanding’ we are proud of our ability to provide high quality care to individuals who have struggled to maintain other mainstream placements or have spent time within secure settings, and reintegrate them back into the wider community to pursue social, personal, or vocational development opportunities.

About The Role

LDC Care Co are flying from strength-to-strength – and it’s not slowing down! We now have over 60 services in Kent, with 400 staff delivering over 16,000 hours of care every week. As we continue to expand, we are looking for new additions to our current team of Operations Managers.

We understand how important it is to make the right move when you’re looking for new career opportunities, and we want to help you to understand what the role looks like within LDC Care Co:

This is a senior management position, reporting directly to the company Directors, supporting continued growth across the organisation. We have some exciting projects ready to launch the company into its next phase and need some amazing people to join us for the ride!

· You will join our team of Operations Managers, heading up our new fifth operational division of services to provide senior-level support and strategic oversight. This will be yours to own, and will have its own CQC registration to go with it.

· You will line manage a team of Registered Managers to have direct oversight of the services and the people they support. Each Registered Manager is allocated a small cluster of specialist services and has direct line management of our amazing support staff. You will help them to prioritise the needs of the service users, ensuring that all regulatory, contractual, and care requirements are met to a high standard.

The role requires the extensive oversight of multiple Registered Managers who each manage clusters of residential and supported living services. The postholder would be working to ensure they remain fully compliant with company policy and regulatory bodies whilst providing a person-centred model of care.

Committed to working towards excellence, you will demonstrate professional leadership whilst inspiring your team to provide the highest quality person-centred support and care, whilst ensuring services are meeting clear business and operational objectives for outcomes, progression, and development. The role will also work with the Service Manager to build development plans for services, setting and quality-checking key objectives on a regular basis.

We are seeking candidates with strong operational management skills as well as an in depth understanding of the health and social care sector, with demonstrable experience in monitoring multiple complex priorities.

Successful candidates will:

Have worked at a senior level within a Health and Social Care setting.

Be confident in managing a team of managers, ensuring accountability and high standards at all times.

Have significant experience managing relationships with professionals associated with the care sector.

Have sound judgement in difficult and complex situations.

Encourage a positive and supportive culture.

Ideally will have obtained a level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, or equivalent education or experience.

At LDC Care Co we pride ourselves on our value-based approach, so we are looking for individuals who are as passionate about providing exceptional levels of care and promoting independence as much as we are! Individuals who are caring, passionate, organised and fair would complement this role.
